Valcare is much more than a funding platform, it is rich in resources that can empower those who want to make a difference. I have benefited greatly from being a Valcare
member and after five years of being part of the network,
I am able to stand firm as a nonprofit in the Cape Winelands. Working full time in the upliftment of communities can wear you down, but then I know that Valcare is there to pick me up and support me to continue in the good work.

I am a soccer coach but being a Valcare member has allowed me to grow beyond that. They taught me the difference between running an organisation and running a soccer club. The impact we make in the community goes beyond the soccer field, as an organisation we also play a role in shaping the characters of the young men we come across. Valcare has played a big part in our development.

I appreciate the role that Valcare plays in equipping me to continue to serve my community. I have been a Valcare member since 2018 and I have always felt supported as I continue to run my soup kitchen. The training is valuable and the relationships I have formed with other members in the network have allowed me and my organisation to grow.
