Valcare runs a community development programmes, called Strategic Intervention, to identify needs, solutions and strategies in communities within the Cape Winelands.
Our team works side-by-side with all stakeholders to ensure that the initiatives are fully owned and run by the community members themselves. Valcare acts as the connectors and coordinators to manage the bigger picture strategically, ensuring sustainability.
We use more than 40 globally-alligned transformation indicators to measure and track the progress within the communities that we work in.
What We Do
We facilitate a mapping and planning process to develop shared plans and transformation indicators for the development of the community.
We host multiple workshops and engagements with stakeholders at grassroots level to determine their challenges, and to identify achievable solutions.
We activate and coordinate area support structures like forums, committees and interventions that we run in partnership with community stakeholders to maximise impact.
